About Adrienne
I am a transformation strategist, writer, and the creator of the SEEN Framework™ and the Evolutionary Mindset™ — approaches I designed to help Black women and other marginalized women evolve beyond inherited survival patterns and rise into rested, powerful, abundant lives.
My work sits at the intersection of epigenetics, nervous system healing, cultural identity, psychology, and personal evolution, all filtered through my lived experience as a Black woman who survived childhood abuse, intimate partner violence, colorism, and years of being unseen, undervalued, and overextended.
After 13.5 years in an abusive relationship, I rebuilt my life from a domestic violence shelter.
From there, I reimagined everything.
I tripled my income.
I released 115 pounds of emotional weight.
I rose from Executive Assistant to Chief Talent Officer.
And most importantly, I rebuilt the foundation of who I believed myself to be.
That journey became my blueprint.
Today, I help women break free from the generational trauma, inherited beliefs, cultural scripts, and survival-based mindsets that were never designed for us. I teach women how to feel safe in their bodies, reclaim their brilliance, trust their voice, and expand into versions of themselves that feel whole, rested, and self-led.
Through my writing, videos, courses, and frameworks — including the SEEN Framework™, the EVOLVE Method™, and the Brilliance Blueprint™ — I offer clear, culturally fluent guidance that blends science with spirit, ancestral knowing with modern psychology, and lived experience with leadership wisdom.
My work is for the women who were taught to be strong but never supported.
For the women carrying trauma that didn’t start with them — and ends with them.
For the women who want to evolve without apology.
At the heart of everything I teach is a single truth:
You have everything you need within you right now.
I created The Melanated Soul and the Evolutionary Mindset™ platform as spaces where we remember, restore, and rise. Where we evolve intentionally. Where we reclaim the parts of ourselves that the world asked us to abandon.
My life isn’t just a story of transformation, it’s a living proof of what becomes possible when Black women reclaim their rest, their power, and their brilliance.
And if I did it, you can too.

Ubuntu Melanated Souls, Ubuntu!
I created The Melanated Soul in 2018 because I couldn’t find guided meditations, affirmations, or healing spaces that reflected me — my culture, my lived experiences, or the nervous system realities of Black women.
Traditional meditation spaces asked me to relax into imagery and language that didn’t include us. And without safety, representation, and cultural resonance, healing isn’t deep. It isn’t sustainable. It doesn’t land in the body.
So I built the space I needed.
The Melanated Soul is a healing home for Black women and all marginalized women — a place where our stories, our nervous systems, and our ancestral brilliance are centered. Here, I blend trauma healing, epigenetics, somatics, spirituality, and identity work into meditations, soulffirmations, and rituals created specifically for us.
This is where we rebuild our sense of safety.
Where rest becomes sacred.
Where survival mode loosens its grip.
Where we remember who we were before the world demanded our strength.
The Melanated Soul is more than a platform.
It is remembrance.
It is restoration.
It is evolution.
